Journal/Book: Congress of the Faculty of Homoeopathy Windermere. 1990;
Abstract: The irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common complaint for which conventional medicine is not satisfactory. A number of different complementary approaches have been advocated in the management of IBS and this investigation-compared a group of 20 patients stratified and randomised to receive either conventional or homoeopathic treatment over a 12 week period. Information on patients symptoms was obtained by repeat questionnaires at 0,2,6 and 12 weeks from the start of treatment. |
