Thymushormone und Lymphokine

Abstract: Thymusfactors fulfill important tasks in maintaining the immunological homeostasis in the sense of a physiological immunebalance. They activate precursor-T-lymphocytes and foster their maturing. In this respect they are working as colony stimulating factors. With the help of Interleukin-2 they activate macrophages and B-lymphocytes. 180 citations of publications demonstrate the influences of thymusfactors on immunodefence and homeostasis.
