Regenerations- und Funktionsverbesserung von Zellen durch ärztlich kontrolliertes Fasten

Abstract: A group of persons undergoing fasting under medical control was examined for an accurately defined excretion product in order to observe the effect of this kind of fasting and to quantitate this effect. From the beginning it was desired and expected to find an evidence for the effect of detoxication, which was confirmed. The satisfactory result of this investigation was the statistical proof of an improvement and prolongation of the cell regeneration phase during in the period of fasting. The group of fasting persons was compared to a control group which was not fasting and showed no consuming diseases. A couple of additional parameters consisting of laboratory values as well as clinical examinations were recorded. Biogenic amines (NI-acetylspermidine and N8-acetylspermidine) were used as accurately defined excretion products (marker substances).Analytical methodHPLC (High performance liquid chromatography).
