Abstract: The Lübeck music therapy model in a depth psychology-based form of psychotherapy for neurotic and psychosomatic patients. It treats the pathological extraversion found in these patients and focuses on ego psychology. From the complex expression dynamics displayed by these patients in music therapy, seven areas are presented in detail and their clinical forms in anorexic and bulimic patients are compared.
