Abstract: This article is an adaptation of a lecture, given by the author at the 5th International Congress 'Music Therapy and Music Education', 1989, in Noordwijkerhout. Starting point is that in a music therapeutical situation the interactions between the psychosomatic and bio-musical dimensions are most important. By means of a model this is further explained. Next, the concept of bio-music is viewed from different angles (psycho-dynamics of bio-music, neuro-dynamics of bio-music).
