Research strategies in a hospital setting

Abstract: Preliminary considerations about doing music therapy research. It is important to contact all the people who are likely to be involved in the research and gain some idea of how they will co-operate. It is particularly important to gain the understanding of the the doctors who will refer patients as to the indicators for music therapy. Music therapy research designs can be developed in practice and must not be imposed from outside specialists.
