Psychosomatische Medizin in einer gestörten Umwelt

Abstract: Environmental waste poses one of the greatest problems today, which throws doubts an the whole existence of mankind. It is however easily overlooked, that environmental waste doesn't just concern garbage and exhaust gas, but there is also in the field of mental health environmental waste, the result of which is at least as great as the already recognized environmental decay. The emphasis an achievement has led to an abundance of neurotic compulsions. In the intimate sphere and in sexual behavior great numbers of disorders have built up. A fundamental uprooting leads to depression and anxiety. The disease problematic should not just be handled at its peak, but should find support as an expression of a collective emergency treatment. The media plays a harmful role and a new orientation IS therefore a medical challenge, as most illnesses that take up the consulting hours of doctors and clinics have here their intrinsic roots. The report gives practical suggestions for a new health -pedagogical orientation in the medical field as well as in the media, which must recognize their responsibility.
