The Stay at a Health Resort as a Supplementation to Out-patient and In-patient Medical Care.

Abstract: The increase of chronical diseases and the development of the age-structure of our society demand that we put more consideration into primary prevention. Health education which is not based an the level of knowledge and behaviour only, but which also creates incentive through positive motivation, can be put into realisation particularly well during in-patient health resort treatment. Here, the Bad Mergentheim model proves an interdisciplinary starting point.
