Abstract: The neural therapy acts as a specific reflexotherapy via the ground substance and the neurovegetative nerve fibres which are embedded in this substance. There is a close correlation between the basic regulation and the neurovegetative system. With regard to the therapeutical results of the neural therapy achieved via the skin, the vasomotor nerve bundles of a certain size which perforate superficial fasciae of' the body seem to play an important role - a fact which has recently been verified with regard to acupuncture.
