Grundsätzliches zur Neuraltherapie |

Abstract: The neural therapy is the specific treatment of the autonomic nervous system and of peripheral nerves by means of a local anaesthetic. Usually, procaine and lidocaine derivatives are used for this purpose. By doing this, three different sites of action are possible:1. The segmental or local therapy, 2. the treatment of ganglia,3. the treatment of an area of disturbance involved. The neural therapy is a regulatory process, i.e. blockades of a control system are being eliminated for a short time by the local anaesthetic allowing the autoregulation to start again. The neural therapy is a diagnostic and therapeutic method using the reflex pathes to treat the subjacent organs. The successful treatment can be reproduced, The therapy is continued in the local area until the Symptoms have completely disappeared.A Symptom-free state of normally 20 hours (8 hours in case of the teeth) must be maintained in the area of disturbance, it must be reproducible and result in the healing of the disease as far as this is anatomically possible. However, a treatment of the area of disturbance combined with a segmental treatment is often necessary in practice. This is called the combined treatment of the area of disturbance and segmental treatment. The neural therapy is successful in case of chronic pain (e.g. headaches including trigeminal neuralgia), diseases in the area of the whole locomotor system (from the spinal column to the articulations), diseases of the rheumatic circuit as well as disturbed circulation (cerebral, cardiac and peripheral). One field of application of the neural therapy are functional disorders. A traditional diagnosis is not at all useless because of the neural therapy.
