Abstract: Max Bürger reminds the physicians that human beings and animals are always ill as a whole and that the smallest local disturbance affects the functioning of the whole organism.In order to avoid false diagnoses by the nonrecognition of diseases due to mercury amalgam dentists and physicians should take into consideration this source of disease in the case of therapy- resistant diseases. The corroding mercury amalgam may cause trouble in all areas of the body. This is proved by means of the oral current measurementwith a voltmeter or by means of electroacupuncture according to voll, respectively.Those of the dentists and physicians who do not take into consideration this kind of pathogenesis in their evaluation are subject to avoidable false diagnoses and thus do not use the correct drugs for the treatment. lmpressive case descriptions emphasize this non-recognition of diseases due to mercury amalgam.
