Abstract: Any therapy which aims at restoring normal regulatory patterns presupposes an understanding of the nature and extent of dysregulation. Testing of heat regulation is a metabolism-dependent method which puts the patient under no strain, can be delegated to nursing staff, is reproducible and not amenable to manipulative influence. Regulation thermography has a wide scope ranging from preventive examinations to diagnosis of organ disease and focal processes to detection of cancerous disease, from planning to control and documentation of therapy.
