Abstract: Wobenzym is an enzyme-combination with the following content in 1 tablet: Pancreatin 100 mg, Papain 60 mg, Bromelain 45 mg, Lipase 10 mg, Amylase 10 mg, Trypsin 24 mg, Chymotrypsin 1 mg, Rutosid 50 mg. The oral application is well resorbed. As biological catalysators the enzymes link metabolic steps in the breakdown of Proteins, lipids and carbohydrates. This principle is used to regulate the degradation of substrates which are accumulated in acute and chronic inflammation-processes.Wobenzym® is indicated the following diseases and disorders: Postthrombotic Syndrome; Phlebitis; Adnexitis; Prostatitis; traumatic and postsurgery-edema; sportsinjuries; mastopathia; rheumatic diseases; multiple sclerosis.Wobenzym® has no toxicity. As side-effect gastrointestinal inconveniences have been noticed in single cases.
