Gedanken zur therapeutischen Wirkung der Ultraviolettbestrahlung des Blutes (UVB) bei Viruserkrankungen

Abstract: The analysis of the endocytosis - the mechanism which allows the viruses to enter host cell - shows that a critical phase of this process - the coiling of micro filaments which pulls into the cell the virus bound to the membrane - is not carried out in a dormant cell and that it requires a certain pH and calcium concentration which are only given in a strongly excited cell. If, as we could show it, the UV forces excited cells back to the state of dormancy, it simultaneously has to suppress the endocytosis and thus the intracellular multiplication of viruses. This may explain the observed therapeutical effect.On the basis of these results are also discussed the much more complicated preconditions for bacterial infections.
