Seasonal variations of the action of mercury and platinum in experimental homeopathy

Abstract: The protector role of infinitesimal doses of heavy metals on experimental toxicity induced by these metals at ponderable doses was reported as early as 1955. Wc proposed to demonstrate the protector effect of infinitesimal dilutions of Mercurius corrosivvs and Cisplatinum on nephritis in mice induced by the same metals at different months of the year in an effort to reveal thc eventual cxistence of seasonal variation of this protection. Female mice, subjected to automatic artificial lighting (12 hours light-12 hours dark) received every day at the same time an i.p. injection of 0.5ml distilled water (control lot) or aquous dilution of Mercurius corrosivus or the 9CH or 15CH of Cisp ame heavy metals; this protective effect depends on the season during which the experimentation is performed.
