The drum and its therapeutic function

Abstract: On the symbolic functions of the drum in various cultures. Besides a hypothesis is discussed, as to the drum being efficient for the purpose of "grounding" through handling of emotional problems. Among other things the issue of bioenergetics is dealt with.
