Epidermale Lektinbildung bei Psoriasis vulgaris |
Journal/Book: Dermatol-Monatsschr. 174 (4), 193-196. 1988;
Abstract: The epidermal distribution of galactosyl residues in psoriasis vulgarisand other pathologic and orthologic conditions was studied by directimmunofluorescence with FITC-lectins. Based on lectin binding patterns,we assume that the expression of various galactosyl residues inpsoriatic epidermis is not affected by the disease. In contrast tonormal human epidermis, Viscum album L. lectin I was fixedcytoplasmatically by oral mucosa. In acute contact dermatitis PNAbinding sites were partially liberated in the basal cell layer.
