Erfahrungen der Robert-Janker-Klinik, Bonn, mit systematischer Enzymtherapie und emulgieren Vitaminen |

Abstract: The administration of systemic enzymes (Wobenzym) and combined emulgated vitamins (E-Mulsin, A-Mulsin High Concentrate) has been experienced for 20 years by the Janker-Clinic (Bonn). Many diseases, which to date resisted causal treatment, do respond well to the combination, among others mastopathy, requiring a careful differential diagnosis as to female breast cancer. This affection, rather frequent in women of 20 to 50 years of age, often becomes subject to inadequate therapy. The consequent application of Wobenzym (2 x 10 coated tablets/day) and 1000 mg of ?-Tocopherol leads (E-Mulsin fortissimum) to improvement by 4 weeks in 85 % of cases. Treatment of recidivations is similarly successful. The same applies to Iymph oedemas (stage I) in women who have been preliminarily treated for mammary carcinoma by means of surgery and/or radiotherapy, responding well to long-term Wobenzym treatment (2 x 10 coated tablets/day) of 612 months, and showing hardly any side effects, either. Rare allergic reactions quickly recede after discontinuation of Wobenzym treatment. High dose vitamin A therapy (in a cumulative dose of 60 x 106 I. U. of vitamin A) represents a standard in the treatment of some epithelial tumours located in the otorhinolaryngologic and cutaneous regions. It is of particular importance in the follow-up treatment of bronchial carcinomas with prior chemo- and/or radiotherapy by attenuating cytostatic-induced side-effects, but definitely assuring the results obtained by chemotherapy. Side-reactions (such as disturbance of consciousness, hypercalcemia, elevation of hepatic enzymes) can~e dominated by gradually increasing doses. For the benefit of the ill, longterm treatment (I2 years or more), too, should be carried out under careful medical supervision of patients and observance of the contra-indications.
