Abstract: This paper presents a workshop that discusses a number of ways of making instrumental activities engaging and accesible to the elderly confused person. The value of instrumental activiites is discussed, and instrumental activities and ideas suggested. These include warm up exercises, simple and highly structured rhythm band ideas, solo-chorus arrangements, and improvised music. An appropriate list of resourses is also given.
