Abstract: Studied the correlation between treatment and patients' disease course and social functioning. Human subjects: 57 Poles (paranoid psychoses). The Ss received psychotherapy or music therapy combined with pharmacotherapy for less than or more than 3 mo. One yr after discharge a follow-up survey was made with regard to the number of rehospitalizations, outpatient care, social adjustment, and intensity of paranoid symptoms.
