Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to explore the role of music therapy in meeting the needs of people who have Huntington's disease (H.D.). It draws on the available literature and on the experience of the author and previous nusic therapists at the Arthur Preston Centre in Victoria, Australia. H.D. is described in five stages. The needs of the patient, and the team approach are presented.
