Abstract: lt was the aim of the research to prove that in case of chronic-medicinal and vasomotor rhinopathies long-term application of homoeopathic rhinologics is indicated. Rhinomanometric measurement of the flow resistance during nasal breathing has been considered an objective characteristics of the change in patency. 26 patients with rhinopathia vasomotorica and 25 patients with rhinopathia chronica modicamentosa whose nasal breathing was bad during the preceding 6 months were treated. To avoid seasonal environmental allergens treatment has been carried out during 6 weeks in winter by spraying the preparation into each nostril daily. In both patient groups nasal breathing resistance decreased in a statistically significant way. Even after the application had been stopped, nasal breathing resistance did not rise for 2 weeks. 6 of the 26 patients with rh. vasomotorica proved to be resistant to therapy. In all other patients the breathing resistance approximated the average normal value known from literature. No side-effects have been observed and due to the easy application the preparation has been well received by the patients.
