Acupuncture treatment of 61 cases of supraorbital neuralgia

Abstract: 61 cases of supraorbital neuralgia were treated by acupuncture. Results of treatment: cured 52.7-Y.; improved. 41.9%; ineffective, 5.4%. Favorable results were achieved even in cases of long-standing. Relief was often evident after 10-20 needlings. Follow-up (average 27 months) showed effective rate comparable to that at end of treatment course, indicating a lasting effect.
