Zur Frage der Suggestibilität bei der Akupunktur

Abstract: According to validity of suggestion in medical therapy relation between suggestibility of patients and success of acupuncture therapy was studied in 30 patients with migraine. Therapeutical effect above the usual placebo rate could be established using the pragmatic concept of meridian axis.Half of the patients were studied by a sensoric suggestibility test. Treatment success of this group did not differ significantly from the not tested patients. There was no relation between suggestibility and therapeutical effect of acupuncture. lt is concluded that acupuncture does not work on the exclusive basis of placebo or suggestion alone.
