No synergism between metoclopramide and acupuncture in chronic pain

Abstract: Metoclopramide has in previous studies been found to be synergic with acupuncture analgesia both in the laboratory and in the clinics. In the present study no synergism could be shown when patients with chronic pain were treated with acupuncture.
