Abstract: A teenage male presenting with severe memory loss, spasticity of the right arm and hand, right facial weakness and flexon deformity in his knees was referred for individual music therapy. It was observed that retention of verbal information was severely impaired. However, when this information was put into song form a significant improvement was observed. Other learning techniques combine slow Baroque music with verbal information enabled the participant to retain large quantities of verbal information.
