Music and the frail elderly

Abstract: Explores methods in which music may be used, particularly by professionals working with confused, withdrawn, and frail elderly persons, as a communication tool and a device for remotivation, reminiscence, and life review. Creativity and imagination, methods of assessment, eliciting responses, and use with the dying are discussed.
