Abstract: This article describes the various applications for music in a school-based program for visually impaired children. The necessity for a multi-disciplinary approach to the curriculum by both specialists and teachers advocated for the education of the child. The use of music in academic subjects, non-academic subjects and specialist subjects is described with multiple benefits to the child.
