Journal/Book: Australian Music Therapy Association Conference Proceedings.. 1985; AT. Australian Music Therapy Association.. Collected Works.
Abstract: This case study describes a music therapy program designed to meet the needs of Bob, a thirtysix year old man, who is affected by Huntington's Disease. The program aimed to encourage Bob to utilize socially appropriate and meaningful self-expression. It was envisaged that a decrease in socially inappropriate behavior would result. This effect was observed, but was not statistically significant. The main outcome of the program was an increase in the normality and quality of life.
