Abstract: Numerous pains originating from the pectoral girdle can extend into the region of the neck or also into the upper extremities.Apart from the paravertebral subcutaneous injections, the injection into the incisura scapulae, the treatment with circular subcutaneous injections around the upper joint of the arm or in obstinate cases also into the joint are to be performed. The sternoclavicular joint causes eventually stenocardia-likes pains and requires an appropriate differential diagnosis. Through cutivisceral reflexes also diseases of the heart and of the lungs can positively be influenced by thoracic subcutaneous injections, the parallel treatment according to internal medicine being, of course, eventually necessary.
