Abstract: Music therapy degree programs in America are offered in college and university settings and are approved by either AAMT or NAMT, the two professional associations in the nation. differences do exist between AAMT and NAMT programs, but both associations use the same accrediting agency. Completion of an undergraduate degree program or its equivalency qualifies a student for eligibility to be certified by the approving association.
