Abstract: This paper accompanies an Orff Schulwerk workshop. This workshop included improvisation on Orff instruments, ranging from the small tonal space of two notes together, whether they were the falling minor third (soh, me) or the rising fifth of Wuytach's leading to the pentatonic. The workshop looked at the use of any two rounds and the sensitive placing of single rounds from various untuned percussion. An ostinato had developed which served as a stimulous for a melody created from the tone row invented from a chromatic glockenspiel.
