Music- An Educative/Therapeutic toll with the multiple-handicapped in residential care

Abstract: This paper describes a workshop that included comments and discussion concerning ideas, experiences and observations relative to music therapy points in specific music-movement programs with young people suffering from a variety of handicaps with particular regard to the multi-handicapped child in residential care. Aims of the music therapy are presented. A video showing an interdisciplinary approach by the music therapist and the physiotherapist to achieve these aims was shown.
