Prologue

Abstract: Suggests that a paradigm is needed to define and expand upon the uniqueness of music therapy. This requires 3 steps: the study of new knowledge bases, therapy styles, and areas of national interest that influence the discipline's professional stance; an emphasis on holism; and becoming more involved in the medium as musicians.
