Journal/Book: Ärztezeitschrift für Naturheilvefahren. 1984; 25: 387-401.
Abstract: Chronobiology is the science of spontaneous changes and the circadian rhythmicity of the various biological functions an which such spontaneous changes are based - thus, also temperature changes of the organism under time cues. Daily, monthly and yearly rhythms are likewise demonstrated by measurements as also changes of the temperature under the influences of hormones (menstruous cycle) or diseases. Also the response to applied thermic stimuli differs as to the temporal course. Finally, the problems of ultradian side rhythms are described which must be considered in the diagnoses made by means of thermography in order to avoid false diagnoses.
