Morphological Working Methods of Music Therapy

Abstract: This paper presents the methods of a reseach group concerned with the morphology of music therapy. The work of the group is exemplified by a method which makes it possible to reconstruct a patient's mental state on the basis of a description of music improvised with the patient. This reconstruction acts as a preliminary model for the music therapy that follows. The four steps in this method are illustrated in a case study.
