Treatment of cervical spondylosis. Electroacupuncture versus physiotherapy

Abstract: A prospective, controlled clinical trial was undertaken to assess the relative efficacies of pysiotherapy and electroacupuncture in the treatment of cervical spondylosis. The results suggested that, both methods were effective, electroacupuncture produced an earlier symptomatic improvement with increased neck movement, especially in patients with mild degenerative changes of the cervical spine.
