Abstract: The paper describes a method of breathing exercises for asthmatic children. Toteno worked out a new method of disphragmatic respiratory training that is instituted by singing or whistling - work used in basic and clinical research since l975. A tape was prepared to be used in conjunction with the text of the method. The exercises demonstrated are for abdominal breathing using the fermata singing methods, learning how to breathe from the diaphragm.
