Abstract: In an institutional setting, the types of psychotherapy offered to the individual or the group receiving treatment may be different. These co-therapies may range from the traditional analyst-patient session to relaxation therapy; art or music therapy; and/or a group session with patients, doctors, and hospital staff. These related therapies are part of an overall plan, with 1 doctor in charge of each patient and with staff and therapists maintaining communication with the patient and one another.
