Sprachvertonung in Robert Schumanns Liederzyklus "Dichterliebe" (1840). Ein Beitrag zur Psychoanalyse der musikalischen Kreativitat. / Robert Schumann's setting of the song cycle "Dichterliebe" (1840): A contribution to the psychoanalysis of musical creativity |

Abstract: Since discursive language is the authentic medium of psychoanalysis, any attempt to approach music psychoanalytically is, from the outset, problematic. But an attempt can be made with regard to the setting of words to music, in which analysis shows aspects determinable in discursive language. Together with the pathographic dimension, these aspects give an insight into the creative process and its multiple outer and inner conditions within a musical work of art such as Schumann's "Dichterliebe."
