Abstract: The report of this conversation, also supplied with 6 photographs, does not only provide a picture of the person of Ben Gerits but also gives information on his work with deaf children, especially concerning music and expressive movement. It also provides information on deafness, education of the deaf in the Netherlands, esp. the J.C. Ammanschool in Amsterdam, on the study group in this sector and on the international contacts of the interviewed person.
