Abstract: Studies to Determine Individual Toxic Doses of Digitoxin: 41 hospitalized patients with heart failure of stages II to IV were stabile on digitoxin between May 1980 and March 1981. This was done exclusively on the basis of the clinical symptoms. In 61 % of the patients the planned individual doses of 0.05 mg, 0.07 mg or 0.1 mg daily could be maintained. In 39% the doses were raised individually within this range. No intoxications occurred.
