A method of electro-acupuncture treatment for equine intestinal impaction.

A method of electro-acupuncture for treatment of intestinal impaction of the horse was reported. The unique technique of the treatment includes deep needle insertion and the "triple tetanic treatment." Possible mechanism of this form of treatment was discussed.
