Music therapy at a therapeutical outpatients' clinic

Abstract: In this article the development is described of 5 music therapists in their work as music therapists on a psychiatric day-care institute. Main development was from verbal to non-verbal therapy, i.e. working with the experiences themselves, without interpretation, evaluation, and talk. Their conclusion is that a M.T. must first be a musician because otherwise the potential of the profession is not fully realised.
