Phototherapy in the educational setting |
Journal/Book: Arts in Psychotherapy. 1981; 8: 193-199.
Abstract: Describes a phototherapy program that the author has used in various forms with client groups in special education school programs. Issues and proposals raised by these experiences are discussed, and the group-sessions format is outlined. It is considered that there are needs for more extensive use of these techniques, for controlled research testing their efficacy, and for increased involvement in the use of photography by mental health professionals and art therapists.
