Experimentelle Erhebung der Akkommodabilität an vagosympathikotomierten Patienten bei Eisapplikation

Abstract: Aus dem Institut für Physikalische Medizin (Vorstand: o. Prof. Dr. H. JANTSCH) der Universität Wien Zusammenfassung In einer früheren Untersuchung wurde postuliert daß durch Erregung des Sympathikus auf Grund von Eisanwendung eine Veränderung des Aktivitätszustandes der Innenträger der Membran ausgelöst werden kann. Zur Überprüfung welche Rolle das autonome Nervensystem bzw. der Sympathikus bei der Herabsetzung der Akkommodationsfähigkeit einnimmt wurde die Kältereaktion der Muskeln an der o.E. bei Patienten welche nach Kux vagosympathikotomiert worden waren mit der der Muskeln der u.E. verglichen. Alle Muskeln beider u.E. von 10 Pat. zeigten eine hochsignifikante Verminderung der Akkommodabilität während die Muskeln beider o.E. mit 3 Ausnahmen keine signifikante Veränderung der Akkommodationsfähigkeit aufwiesen. Obwohl das Phänomen der Akkommodabilität nicht ausreichend erklärt ist erscheint durch die vorliegenden Resultate wahrscheinlich daß das autonome Nervensystem im besonderen der Sympathikus eine Hauptkomponente in der Beeinflussung der Akkommodationsfähigkeit bei Eisapplikation darstellt. Summary In a former investigation it was postulated that excitation of the sympathical nervous System by topical ice application causes a change of membran stabilizing mechanisms. For the problem to determine the role of the autonomous nervous system in depressing the ability to accommodate an investigation was carried out an 10 patients after vagosympathicotomy of the upper extremities to compare the cold reaction of the muscles of the upper extremities and of the lower extremities. The decrease of accommodation ability of all investigated muscles of both lower extremities was distinetly significant. Comparing this fact with the results received from the muscles of the upper extremities in which Gases the change - except three muscles - was not significant it has been stated that the autonomous nervous system is the main reason in depressing the ability to accommodate. ___MH
