The effect of music ear training upon the auditory discrimination abilities of trainable mentally retarded adolescents |
Journal/Book: Journal of Music Therapy. 1980; 17: 70-74.
Abstract: Found equivocal results in a study that tested the hypothesis that music ear training would enhance auditory discrimination abilities (as measured by the Goldman-Fristoe-Woodcock Test of Auditory Perception). However, the authors suggest that the results should not be generalized, but established by additional research in other situations. (6 ref)
