Der Wert der Leukozytenzählung bei der Rheumatoid Arthritis zur Beurteilung einer Moorkur

Abstract: Aus dem Forschungsinstitut für Balneologie und Kurortwissenschaft Bad Elster (Direktor: OMR Prof. Dr. med. habil. H. JORDAN) der Abteilung Zentrale Diagnostik der Staatsbäder Bad Brambach-Bad Elster (Ärztlicher Direktor: OMR Dr. med. U. MICHALIK) und dem Institut für Physikalische Therapie (Leiter: Dr. sc. med. R. CALLIES) der Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena Zusammenfassung Bei 1000 Patienten mit Rheumatoid Arthritis wurde die Verteilung hoher mittlerer und niedriger Ausgangswertgruppen der Leukozyten in Abhängigkeit von den Klassifikationsmerkmalen Röntgenstadium Aktivitätsgrad und Funktionsgrad überprüft. Die inhomogene Verteilung ist bei den Funktionsgraden im Vergleich mit dem Röntgenstadien ausgeprägter. Bei jeweils 50 Patienten der einzelnen Klassifikationsmerkmale erfolgte eine Wertung der Leukozytenänderung im Kurverlauf (Kurbeginn zwei vier und sechs Wochen). Zwei Wochen nach Kurbeginn ist allgemein die Tendenz eines Leukozytenanstiegs zu verzeichnen lediglich bei dem Funktionsgrad IV und dem Stadium IV besteht ein Leukozytenabfall. Die Änderung der Leukozytenzahl im Kurverlauf kann sich gegenläufig zur Erythrozytensenkungsgeschwindigkeit verhalten. Eine gleichzeitige Wertung dieser beiden Parameter mittels Summenindex (Aktivitätsgrad) ist unzweckmäßig. Summary In 1 000 patients with rheumatoid arthritis the distribution of leucocyte groups with high medium and low initial value were tested depending on the classification signs X-ray stage degree of activity and degree of function. In the degrees of function the inhomogeneous distribution in more pronounced in comparison to the X-ray stages. In 50 patients each of the individual signs of classification a valuation of the changes of leucocytes in the course of the treatment was performed (beginning of the treatment two weeks four weeks and six weeks). Two weeks after the beginning of the treatment the tendency of an increase of the number of leucocytes is generally to be established a decrease of the number of leucocytes is present only in the IM degree of function and in stage IV. The change of the number of leucocytes in the course of the treatment has an adverse relation to the erythxocyte sedimentation rate. A simultaneous valuation of these two parameters by means of sum index (degree of activity) is not to the purpose. ___MH
