Some uses of art therapy data in research

Abstract: Discusses 4 types of research methods employed by the author: (a) testing predictive hypotheses by rating pictorial features of patients' art productions, (b) rating pictorial features of known patients' art productions when blind to the variable being studied, (c) studying specific data elicited by appropriate art tasks assigned for a particular purpose, and (d) studying data that emerged where no effort was made to elicit a particular kind of material.
