The audition of works tests in receptive musicotherapy |
Journal/Book: Vie medicale au Canada francais. 1976; 5: 1014-1022.
Abstract: Discusses the musical receptivity test and the indications for psychomusical therapy. Four reasons for using the test of audition are given, and the method of applying it is discussed, including the material conditions necessary (the room, the equipment, the preliminary instructions given to the S, and the development and duration of the test); the choice of works, and the order of presenting them. Categorization and analysis of responses are examined, including the study of defense mechanisms and the summary "psychogram" graph. The limitations of the test and its place among other projective tests (e.g., TAT) are addressed. (English summary)
